Precast Architectural Panels were installed on the New School Addition at PS 077X in the Bronx. This is PKSB’s first Precast Panel Building.
The size and number of these panels were studied to provide the utmost efficiency in fabrication, delivery, and installation times, while preserving the classical brick patterning exhibited on the original institution’s masonry facades. Insulated Precast Architectural panels proved to be a cost-effective means that both matched the existing school and facilitated a safe construction environment in which to continue the educational occupancy.
